Show who is kicking when a vote is put up against you.

Being unjustly kicked is a pretty common problem for any player even slightly above average skill level. (magically this doesn't seem to work nearly as well for actual hackers somehow...) Anyway, my suggestion is to at least have the vote show up to the person who is being kicked. They still wouldn't be able to vote but they could at least see who it is that's kicking them and if the vote is going to pass. Unjust kicks should be a reportable offense and this would give the player something to screenshot and submit as proof. And it would discourage the cowardly kickers who put up votekicks against you knowing that you don't know it's them. Mostly they just do it to steal Ace/MVP or because you're owning their clanmates on the other team. Or whatever countless reasons there could be for unjustly kicking someone. It wouldn't change the kick system in any way other than you know who kicked you.


Obviously this will never happen, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Thoughts, discussion or reasons why this is a bad idea?

And how would making kickees able to see who is kicking them make it more abusable? You may have a point but if you do, state it.

The point of my suggestion is to make it less abusable.

Like others said, this will only lead to retaliatory kicking. I think a better idea is to give the name of the player who kicks you only if successful, and allow you to save a replay. Kick abuse should be a punishable offense in this game, same as cheating.

I wouldn't mind being kicked back by a hacker because I know I'm right and don't care if sees, let ahmed try to kick me.

Other than that I don't even kick anyone, so a retaliatory kick is nearly non existent.

I don't anyone who abuses votekick does it under the assumption of anonymity - he knows other people in the room will tell you it was him, he might be first and say it was someone else and so forth.



Mostly curious about what this would achieve. Revenge obviously, taking the abuse even further. Asking the guy why I suppose, though you can do that without using his name.


You're more likely to revenge-kick if the game tells you who tried to kick you, rather than if 3 people in the room say different names, so I'll go ahead and say no because abuse breeds abuse.
Also this does nothing to help prove abuse or anything, because "kick abuse" isn't a reportable offense.

Well it's not a stupid idea but no one is gonna get banned for kicking someone for the simple reason that is "you have no proof of them knowing you don't hack" You might not be hacking but sometimes for me when i play people think i hack wich leads them into kicking me not knowing how legit i'd be. And people who did know that you're legit will just say sorry when they're in trouble "I thought you were hacking, sorry pro" And so on..

But i still vote for the "Who's kicking me part" it wouldn't suck to know the ******* who kicked you for no mother fcking reason. Maybe add something into crates wich gives you this ability.
