“No longer worth even considering ”

I worked at Smilegate West full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Your fellow employees there can be great at times and do their best to make you feel at home.
Cons
Here is a small list but not all the cons.
- Management never listens to their employees.
- Lack of any teamwork, mostly due to company structure and team setup.
- No future for non-Koreans.
- Constant fear of being fired, very high turn around rate.
- Probation periods that can last well over a year.
- Constant reports, including hourly reports. Takes time away from any real work.
- No proper distribution of work. Some employees end up with no work and play games all day or on Facebook. Others left with doing the work of 2 out 3 people.
- Salaries that are far below industry standard.
- More time spent trying to prove you did work then any actual work being done. They reward looking like you are busy really accomplishing anything.
- Horrible responses time to problem or new projects with constant delays by all departments. Over planning to the point of procrastination.
- Lack of any real leadership in the company with just finger pointing when things go wrong.
- the list just continues on and on.
Advice to Management
Complete company restructuring needed. Return the company to what it used to be. They took a good company and beat it into the ground.

As true as that is mr dot, the thing you have to consider is who in the threads works for smilegate? Who has the time or insight to know these things but not work there? While they do mirror it, this latest review is much more in detail then any of the others, thus im assuming it is by another person. They took time to write this, they didn't just rage-type. -

Tis a good point , as the others have said who would be that disatisfied with the company ? The English levels between the posts would suggest multiple reviewers . As everything on he net just because Google found it doesn't mean it's true... Still makes you wonder though. -

EVERY company in the world have disgruntled former employees.
I suppose the fact that people still work there, that they hire new people who wants to work there, is proof enough that the opinion of a few people aren't universal facts set in stone. -

I'm not saying that because Saidin left, the company must be falling. I'm saying that the CONs listed in that review, what has proved it wrong?
The company is making thousands yet xtrap's contract is still on.
I see new content introduced but whats good about a new vip or a rare weapon I just won when most of the games I join has hackers in them?
Since Egypt is the main, not the only, source of hacking, block them from making new accounts untill all the reports have been viewed, hackers been banned, and a new hack shield is introduced.

I said at least one review is false, because at least one is.
I'm not on this forum to defend Z8/G4/SG/SGW, it's not what I'm ordered to do and it's not something I'd ever do.
I like to think of myself as working for Juicebox, not the company HE works for.
(To clarify, "not something I'd ever do" refers to being compelled to defend anything. If my perspective coincides with a favorable position on something, that's different.) -

Yes every company has turn over, some people who feel they were mistreated and the crappy wages .
Is this company one of them ? Do you guys support places that treat their employees poorly ? Do you go to one grocery store over its rival across the street simply because their employees are paid a little better? -

Actually, I am growing very suspicious of this racism rumor thing.
During the stream today on Twitch, the GMs came and were answering ALL of everyone's questions. Well, they answered from crazy questions like from "do you like pie" to normal questions like "how cool is the office". But when I asked them if the rumor about the racism going on in Smilegate West is true, they ignored me.. I also asked 3x.. Must be ignoring for a reason they don't want to share -

I'll make sure to ask that next time! I was on mumble all the time but I wasn't looking at the stream. Only 9, xbox, and Sherlock were watching the stream chat + the game. -

And I can safely say that we can both agree at least one of them was not false. -
The best GM is gone, he was all the time here for the community in the forum and in the game, maybe he go away because he see that he can not change the system like Xtrap, Smilegate management ideas etc... now he work for a better company Blizzard, i hope that is the true, i wish him the best! #FreeSaidin
