Can't start the game. Error W[2004] L[0]

I get this error whenever I try to run the game.
It started happening after I moved to my dorm and connected to a new internet.

Tried re-installing it 3 times. Tried putting it to the exceptions list in my anti-virus and it didn't work. Tried installing it with my firewall off, didn't work.

Delete your current xtrap and/or hwgc folder and try to relaunch the game, run it as admin. See if that works.

Tried that as well, didn't run it on admin though.

Try restarting your internet adapter. Or, disable/re-enable it.

So, you could get past the hwgc loading and check stage before this?

I'm gonna try to run it as admin since I had already tried to delete the files you mentioned and running the game and that didn't work.

Running Kapersky.

EDIT: did not work, HGWC loads up to 100% step 11 and stays there until it gives me the error.

How do you disable and re-enable it?
I'm basically connected through an ethernet cable that was in the dorm room.

Would recommend submitting a ticket at this point, if you hadn't already done so. Should be noted that they had issues with Xtrap and Kapersky. However I believe that has been resolved earlier, but you should contact support still.

I had already done that.
They replied today but the stuff they suggested didn't work.
I updated them with all the things I tried and the stuff that didn't work.
Hopefully they'll be able to figure it out.
