A great artist. Horrible loss.
Committed suicide August 11.
Aged 63. Apparently an avid gamer, loved The Legend of Zelda so much he named his daughter Zelda, also CoD and Portal.
Great soul.

Jumanji was my favorite childhood movie. RIP Robin, will be missed. -

It is really sad news.
I was just recently talking to his daughter Zelda since I partnered up with her to raise money for Saint Judes. Sadly, the CF community has not raised our personal goal, but thanks to some awesome redditors after this tragic event, the team has managed to surpass the desired goal.
As an amateur actor, I really appreciated his work, and my old high school English teacher had a lot of good things to say about the man. -

This has been one awful year for comedy....
Loved Robin Williams growing up, He will be missed.
Monty Python is done and dusted, and Rik Mayall a british legend in comedy passed away a few months ago aswell. Also Sam Kelly from Allo Allo & Patsy Byrne from Blackadder.
Such a terrible year.
