X-Trap Update - August 5th 2014 - Avira + Kaspersky
Attention Mercenaries,
We have received several reports regarding a conflict between a recent X-Trap update and both Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Avira Anti-Virus. We have confirmed these reports and have updated X-Trap so that the conflict with Kaspersky should be fixed. We are still working on a fix for Avira and hope to roll it out as soon as we are positive everything is working.
If you are still experiencing an X-Trap error that is being caused by Kaspersky, then please send us a ticket and include which version of Kaspersky you are using.
EDIT August 6th: For those of you using Avira and experiencing X-Trap Errors, our tests with Avira have discovered that disabling the Real-Time Protection Option in Avira should allow you to run CrossFire without any issues.
We will still update this thread once we update Xtrap for full compatibility, but in the meantime you can use the aforementioned method to play CrossFire.
Thank you all,
[GM]Castiel

Hey...
This means I should download my Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 again,on the next replay i'll say if the issue is fixed or no,will write that on the next comment..
Thanks again for the effort.
Install something else that is less error-prone. Avast! hasn't caused me any trouble, and is free. -
