Mouse issues

So in game while im playing my mouse would freeze every 10-30 secs for like 1-3 secs then goes back to normal and it keeps repeating. This makes it really difficult to aim and kill people... Anyone know the problem?

Happens to me too, what i do is restart or shutdown my pc and than start it back up

    Hope that works
  • Is your mouse wired or wireless?

What type of mouse do you have?

How long have you owned this mouse?

How long do you play until it starts freezing?

I am not technical but hopefully when you answer these, someone may come up with a solution.

    1. Its a wired mouse.
    2. Dell (has bright red light on the bottom)
    3. Couple of years
    4. Within a few minutes it starts and doesnt stop.

About the the red light tho. I see that everytime the light blinks or turns off, the mouse cursor(crosshair) would lag and freeze at a certain spot for a few seconds or more, then it unfreezes and my crosshair would fly uncontrollably to the spot... Could it be that the mouse requires fixing, battery change, or if its broken?
  • If the mouse is wired, it wouldn't need batteries.

Have you tried using a different port on your computer and does this happen on all games or just Crossfire?

It could be that the laser in the mouse is on its way out, it can be fixed but depending on the mouse, some are easier than others. I would try other ports on your computer, try cleaning the mouse and then trying to restart your computer before you attempt to fix it or buy a new mouse.

  • Google the latest driver for that specific type of mouse.
