CrossFire Freezes since Saturday, July 19
I was able to play CrossFire just fine including Friday, July 18, 2014. I was able to play fine in the new Devastated City. Then on Saturday, July 19, 2014, every time I click Ready to enter a game and it says Loading, CrossFire freezes at the picture of the game room that is supposed to be loading. It does this every time. I can't play the game anymore. It also freezes if I try to exit the game menu after I click the X and when I click Exit it freezes.
Just CrossFire freezes. The Keyboard & Mouse still respond. The only way I can exit CrossFire is by Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending the task. I have tried everything I can think of to try to resolve this. I have totally uninstalled CrossFire and rebooted and re-downloaded a fresh install file and reinstalled CrossFire at least three times. I even uninstalled MalwareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and System Mechanic. I disabled Avast Antivirus. I uninstalled about five other programs. I have changed my screen resolution from 1920x1080 all the way down to 800x600. Nothing fixes it.
I even added the game ports into the Windows 7 Firewall.
CrossFire has been working on this computer and my previous computer for four years until now.
There have been no hardware changes between July 18 & 19.
The only Windows update listed for July 19 was a Windows Defender update that says it cannot be removed:
"Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.179.369.0)
Installation date: 7/19/2014 1:22 AM
Installation status: Successful
Update type: Important

Every other game works fine, such as Needforspeedworld, The Sims 3, Steam, BigFish Games, etc.
Does anybody have any idea on how to fix my problem?
