Client file corruption detected

Hi there,

After i bought a new Asus laptop i can not not play the game anymore. The game loads en update`s normal (all 12 steps) 10 seconds later i got the message: "client file corruption detected, closing game client". I installed the game several times on several locations, but it does not run. The laptop runs on Windows 8.1 with 8 gb ram and Nvidia GF 740M card. My "old" laptop runs on Windows 7 and (still) does play the game without errors. I turn off the antivirus (Microsoft security essentials) and firewall, still the game does not run.
What should i do??

  • one of mods mentioned that cf isnt working well on win 8. you might want to send ticket to support.

    I`ve don all off the above but still no working CF!
    Anyone else who has this problem en solved it????
  • Z8Games needs 2000 words or more for this, i need only 4. Update your grafic driver!
  • Everything is up to date, including grafic driver....
    It`s a new laptop. After starting it for the first time, i updated everything.
  • I openend poorts in the firewall, as asscribed in "opening poorts"; still the same error!
    Anyone an idea??
