hey guys just purchased the kill/death from the mall with bonus points ... and nothing happened ...

Did you perhaps redeem it? I think there's a button somewhere that shows a list of game changing items, you'll have to go there and confirm it.

i have never used k/d reset but did you check storage?

When you are on the "Mall" webpage, there is a button on the right that says: "My Items". Press that, the reset item will be in it and you have to confirm the activation.
