Eggnog - egg liqueur (in kitchen)

Just to make it clear, I'm not promoting alcohol usage.

Some of you know that I'm chef. I have watched some cooking tv show today and I saw how to make pancakes with apples boiled in eggnog.
I have never tried eggnog so I don't know how it tastes so I was wondering about your opinion.
If you have drinked it in past tell me how it tates. I'm realy interested in those pancakes.
And don't say it tastes like eggs xD

It does taste like eggs, and cream and sugar. Don't recall it was particularly strong, alcohol-wise.


I don't see it benefiting apples boiled in it though.. Should prefer them boiled in syrup and rum.

This is what I was looking for! Sometimes sweet and sour get along and this is one of those meals.

Well, make sure the apples actually are sour, or the nog not too sweet, or it'll be sweet and sweet without much sour.
