CFS Season 3 Preview!
Hi Everyone,
We just want to let everyone knows that we'll have some more CF Star Season 3 information likely coming in the next few weeks. CFS Season 3 has not officially been confirmed yet, but it's in the works so we expect it to be a go in the late fall of this year. (Oct - Dec area)
Be sure to stay involved in both the NESL and ESG to make sure you're ready to join any extra leagues which may be used for qualification.
Be sure to register for the Factions Under Fire event to get in on your chance to qualify for CFS Season 3

oct-dec? o.o
Nothing has been confirmed yet, the site had originally said September (or Maybe Q3 2014) but I'm pretty sure they took that piece of information down. So at this point the actual day is wide open.
We're going to have some consolidated information coming in the next couple of weeks for the qualifiers and how everything will play out.
But we want to continue to encourage people to sign up for the latest tournaments. There are ways to qualify both through the NESL and through the Factions under Fire summer league from ESG.
So we don't want people to miss the boat! -

Can people that live in United Kingdom play in cfstars? -
Well, the event sends a team to China to represent the continent of "North America" so....
Well actually they send a team that represents the region, United Kingdom happens to be part of our region/version of the game. Since your saying they have to be from North America then people who live in mexico can go for our teams even though they have there own version? -

They will have a hell of a time playing in the NA servers. -

I have 90 ping in Echo 8, I live in the UK and I play at the same time players from the US play. This is the NA/UK version of CrossFire, I hope SmileGate gets told that and allow rosters to consist of players who live in countries bound by license to CF NA/UK (This version) This is not WCG so it's not all about countries competing, it's versions competing. Yes most versions are separate for each region, but just because this version has an extra license for another country outside the region, should that mean that players in the extra country aren't allowed to play to play in their own region (Europe) or in their own version in another region? -

I'm telling you straight up they represent North America, that's why we no longer have 2 teams that go to international events because other events had Canada and USA going to represent their countries now seeing as it's what you would like to call a region it's all of North America. UK has the ability to play in our version but no they aren't in our region. Hopefully that settles down the confusion for you bud, I know it's hard for you to understand, and you'll find some witty way to manipulate words to make your viewpoint seem logical, but it is what it is man goodluck -

So no one from the UK can compete in cfstars?
That's nice! -

We have the ability to play your version? It's our version also. We are bound to this version and we're unable to play in CF EU which is the region the UK is in. I'd be more than happy to play on CF EU and compete in CFS there but I am unable to do that (since 2011) That sucks enough, but being unable to play CFS here sucks even more, that's the main goal of every team. Anyways, I don't want to argue with you or anyone about this we just need an official response from someone like Saidin. -
