help - game crashed when i turn my volume up or down

hey all , im having this problem for a while ! when im in the game , and i try to turn the sound volume up or down ( or even mute/unmute it ) from my keyboard sound keys , the whole pc crashed and i get that blue screen telling me something wrong bla bla bla .... so i have to restart my pc and join again the game .. but if use the game settings to turn it up or down its works with no problem , its so annoying sometimes i hit the keys when im playing or i press the mute key not on purpose , it crashes and get me so ****ed , i tried to uninstall the sound driver and installing it again but same results ! so any suggestions how to get rid of this prob !?
