The Islamic State in Iraq

So when can we all do the world a favor and drop nukes on these guys? I have had friends who went to those same cities which are now taken over. This is just unbelievable.

  • before we define them as terrorist, these terrorist are way more sophisticated than you think, for one they are sunni backed by saddam's people, secondly this was very organized, thirdly, i have people on the ground over there, and i wouldn't consider these men your "average" terrorist from what i've been told, this is just american propaganda, you should stop believing what you read in any news outlet when it comes to these situations, especially right now, it's very early in the situation, what is a huge red flag, is that iran is stepping into the situation, if you know anything about the iraqi/iran relationship, it's not a very solid one and any decision now from the west should be really well thought before any action is carried out. as far as the mass killings go, still unverified...

    side story:
i am really anxious to see what will happen, my grandfather's will was just given to me a couple weeks ago, he owned land in Baghdad along with some areas in europe, i was about to go survey it before i go sell it, purchased my plane ticket the other week and this happens. lol, big fat NOPE.
  • Even ppl like you talking about this...
Keep playing online and shut up please.
  • Didn't watch the video and don't care. Now please show us the videos of Americans invading countries that they don't belong in and killing innocent civilians.

  • I personally have no patience for "omg look how bad this is"-videos when it comes to politics, it's on the similarly low propaganda level of footage from one poorly kept farm house or one particularly failed chicken slaughter to define the horror of the food industry.

But I removed the link simply because this is a forum mostly visited by young people.

Haven't had time to catch up on the Iraq-situation but suspect that if the oil is threatened, some 'humanitarian efforts' will soon be engaged by various western countries.
Doubt that USA will want to lose yet another war, so an outright ditto seems unlikely.
  • First the USA and the CIA support the ISIS with weapons and money against the Assad government in Syria and now they need to fight them back because they see that the ISIS is more dangerous as the Al Quaeda or the Taliban... idiot USA.. really!
  • I hope z8 has nothing to do with Iraq. It's the middle east. I'm sure the ISIS used hacks and aim bots to take the cities. We all know z8 doesn't do anything to stop hackers. But, on a serious note.. I hope crossfire isn't becoming a place to voice political views and world news! It's meant to be a game for fun. A way to escape from stress of the real world!

Yes it meant to be a game for fun but you can't have fun while majority of the community are ignorant idiots. Also CF is more stressful than real world to me.

This is the off-topic section of the Crossfire subforum on the Z8Games forum.
    It's not "Crossfire".
We often discuss world news here, and I advise not visiting "off topic" if you're only interested in things relating to Crossfire, which this section (the hint is in the name) does not provide.

Political discussion is certainly welcome here, at least as far as I'm concerned.
While the original post, to me, isn't particularly enlightened (perhaps intentionally), the situation merits discussion if people want to discuss it. I always enjoy such discussions.

If an actual G4Box employee (GM) disapproves, they can without a doubt delete this thread.

These people, who are called terrorists, are fighting because they dont want Americans (or people who cooperate with them) to control their country
It is their land after all
The fact that makes them seem the "bad guys" is that they trying to liberate their land with completly wrong ways (like bombing)
This Iraqi President (dont remember his name) is a puppet of the US government and this is the reason they want to "dismantle" the existing Iraqi State
And keep in mind that US isnt in Iraq to defend Democracy
This is just propaganda to make US soldiers believe that they are fighting for Democracy, while actually they are invading another country
After all it has become obvious (especially after the conflicts in Libya and the scandals in Turkey) that Democracy isnt suitable to Islamic countries

I want to make clear though that i am absolutely against the atrocities that was made by the real terrorists (like the terrorist attack on NY back in 2001)

Well that's my point of view
I'd like to see yours too instead of watching you acting like a smartass
  • well u.s. is sending some troops, let's see how this goes..

Except the US, TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) is capable to take the control in a day, but instead puppet government does nothing. Dozens of Turkmen citizens has been murdered and thousands of them already left their homes. And some of them started to arming for self-defense.

And yet nothing have been done about it. They just watching what they create, the ISIS has been fed by the same goverment so called "AKP"
