Looking for a new keyboard.
My current HP keyboard from 2005 is ready for replacement, again. Had replaced it before with a Razer Lycosa but got tired of the BSODs and the soft finish wearing off the keys. I'm looking for suggestions of a new keyboard now.
I'm already about to replace my Omni $5 Wally-World special mouse and my 42" family television with a 23" monitor.
What I'm looking for in a keyboard
Vertical and Horizontal key lines. I play with my WASD keys directly in front of me so having the angle of which the WASD keys line is important.
USB Connection
Back light, wrist rest, extra buttons aren't important. chicklet style recommendations also welcomed!

do you use synapse or the actual driver?
USE SYNAPSE
that gets rid of the bsod's
I've always had issues with the Lycosa since I got it, and now it's dead anyways due to a glass of milk I spit all over it. Oh well! Saved me the time of getting rid of it -

I've used that like 2 yrs. that does the thing and works whit sun light, good bcus no wire. Enough for me.
While I do like the the chicklet style keys, I'm not very fond of the wireless connection. However a chicklet style like that that's wired, I'd love it! -

I like both of them! A lot of nice features but I'm an FPS gamer. I really don't need all the extras
Plus I've had a lot of bad experiences with Razor and their soft ware. I've owned 3 headsets, 2 mice and a keyboard from them. Rokkat looks decent tho!
.. Still want a chicklet style -
I'd just like to say, I got BSOD from the Lycosa drivers too.
You'd think Razer would do something about that.
I'll second the Steelseries 6gv2 suggestion. It lasts YEARS, and is so good.
The text on my WASD has worn out to a (still very visible) grey, that and the dirt is the only difference since I bought it. Solid and.. good. -
