Hmm, Nice event, but however I got one question.
Can we instantly join the game or do we need to sign up for a team?
Please Help me
if you never play for any team before, you will have to wait until room opens public. for example: i play for croatia but i couldnt make it on the game day, room will open public and you can take my spot and play for croatia -

Hello everyone!
It is time again for another GM Event! This will be very, very different, however. Since the world's biggest soccer event is under way, we will be hosting a massive, ongoing GM Event for the duration of the tournament. So welcome to the Crossfire Cup!
We will be playing Soccer TDM matches for every first round match-up in the tournament. The time and place of each day's matches will be updated on this post every day--so check back often!
THE GAME:
This will be Soccer TDM matches. Each team will have a GM. In order to play, you will need the Flag NameTag for either Brazil or Croatia, and have it equipped.
The password for the room will be posted here once the room is ready. The first game is first come, first serve, for team selection.
Each game will consist of 10 minutes. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins.
But this is where it gets interesting: If your team wins, you will advance to the next round! The next time your winning team plays, you will receive a message from the GM’s in advance with the password for the room (For example—if you play on Croatia, and Croatia wins…the next time Croatia plays, you will receive the password for the room ahead of time). If you are unable to compete in the next game, your spot will be opened to the public--so if you don't get a spot on a team, stay ready! You could get called up from the bench at any time!
Participation prizes will be given to everyone, with bonus prizes reserved for the top players of the tournament overall. These MVP prizes will be awarded based on total points; Kills, Goals, and total team wins. The top 5 performing players of the tournament will receive the MVP prize, as well as have their scores posted in the Crossfire Cup Hall of Fame!
THE RULES:
*You must have the team's Flag NameTag for you to play. These can be found in the Item Shop in Package Items, and purchased for GP!
EDIT: In the interest of saving time. We would ask that you please have the flag ready BEFORE joining the room. There will be a VERY short duration before you get kicked so make sure that you have the flag ready to go.
*You cannot play for more than one team. If you have been on a team already, and try joining another team, we will remove you from the room prior to starting the match.
*Any weapon is allowed, and any other items you would like to equip are also allowed, including body armor.
*Hackers will be forcibly removed, and subsequently banned.
*Removing players is the SOLE responsibility of the GM’s. If you initiate a vote kick, you will be removed and receive no rewards. If the vote kick succeeds, the room will be disbanded and no one, on either team, will receive rewards. The match will be restarted with new teams. So if you see a vote kick take place, you are encouraged to Object with the F12 key.
*If you have a hacking history within the last year, you will be removed from the room prior to starting the match.
*Prizes and distribution dates are TBA. MVP prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament. Participation prizes will be awarded once per match (For example—if you play 3 matches, you will receive the participation prize 3 times).
*It is common sense--and decency--not to sabotage your own team. But since some players may not have that sense--or decency: do NOT sabotage your own team in any way, or you will be removed. Trolling and sabotaging will not be tolerated. You will not receive a reward or continue on to your team's next round.
*Lastly, GM's have final decision on disciplinary action against players, and may do so at their discretion.

The matches for Friday, June 20th are decided! The times and locations to be determined yet--the passwords will be posted when the rooms are opened. ***UPDATE** Advance passwords will now be distributed using Private forum Messages. If you do not have a forum account set up, you will receive an in-game Message.

I work full time and well i want to win this competition, quite alot haha..
but i do strange shifts, that change daily. so i was wondering if you could post when games are going to be played a couple days in advance (not passwords or locations just what games are being played and when) so that i can organize shifts making sure im home when my team Algeria Plays...
Thanks other than that Good luck have fun guys... and let the best player (not me) win -

I can say, however, that the times will be pretty much the same everyday, and that games will be played everyday. For the time being, we're still mirroring the real matches (e.g., US vs Portugal today, so at some point today we will have a US vs Portugal game). Hopefully I will be able to post times in advance, but in case we can't you can use that as a loose guide.- GM Kinzu -
