Summer Event Questions

I'm not going to release too much yet about our upcoming summer event, but I do want to ask a couple questions regarding some of our policies. Please keep the discussion light and please try not to get off-topic.
1. With two matches a week, how does everyone like the "First to 10" format? Keep in mind this would NOT be best of 3's each night. Just one map per night, two matches a week during the regular season. Would you rather an older method such as 7 or 9 round halves and just play out the map in total rounds style or just stick with the First to 10 format?
2. Revisiting the armor question, just so I have answers on one thread. Yes or no to armor in playoffs? Why or why not?

1) Either way is fine with me
2) If everyone has the armor I don't see whats wrong. -

1) Its fine with me
2) why armour lol .. u got one bullet in the head and u still tank .. And we need to spend money to buy armour -
1) If it isn't a best of 3 i like 7 round halfs better. It gives teams more time to counterplay other teams and make comebacks when they start to go down in rounds. With the current 10 round format you can't really comeback from say a 6-2 defecit... you can only make it 6-3. The streams would also be more fun to watch
Best of 3 i like first to 10 format better, because i don't like having to dedicate so much time to one match unless its a finals or semis match.
2) I think armor in playoffs is a bad idea, because it pretty much forces players into using an AK which gives some players an advantage if they already use AK. I understand that armor is used in international competition but the players that actually make it there have plenty of time to prepare and adjust to armor, not only that but the AK we are being forced to use isn't even the same one used in tournaments like CFS.
Another reason is i feel like it makes nades more useless since they pretty much do half as much as they usually do. I feel like this takes away some of the strategy in game.
I am an m4 player, so this is just my point of view on it. Im sure AK players have different opinions than i do. -
The only reason why I asked about rounds format to assess the quality of matches. On one hand, the first to 10 method conditions teams for CFS. On the other hand, they are very short matches. During the regular season yes, you would have two matches a week but each match will be only one map.
I know old school rounds were quite popular because the match lasted longer. Then again, having old school rounds for playoffs and multiple maps made matches SUPER long. -

But a best of 3 with 5 round halves seems like more fun. Quick fun matches but also working on different maps.
Possibly use 5 round/bo3 for regular season, and the old format for a single elimination playoff?

I don't think the players care tooo much about the round style, we will play whatever the league tells us too.
The real controversy is the armor :P -
I think the ESG Spring Series was the best format you guys have used ever. If we can copy the CFS format, considering it's the only international tournament we have in our version, then it's better practice for whichever team is going to CFS Internationals.
However, I do think that you guys should run a league, rather than a random 32 seed tournament or CFS stage format, sometime. We haven't had one in a long time, I think it's time to start one. -

In a league setting, any preference to match format? Old school 5/7/9 round halves? Stick with first to 10? -
