Crossfire is slow after reinstall and settings reset after log off

hello

i reinstall it crossfire after 2 years quit

but now is so slow, i mean, it takes like 4 minutes to play a match after i click join game, and when it ends, i have to wait to be kicked to lobby because the screen of death/kills will never show off, screen is all black. oh, and my settings get reset everytime i log off

when i played it 2 years ago it was all ok, i haven't make it changes to my pc since then

what could be causing this problem?

Yeah, been having the same black screen after match issues, but meh.

And to all the other things you said, CF is just that crappy right now.
