You're right, its not as if other FPS games have alternate game modes to get away from daily frustrations in scrims/matches.
I mean, what's surf to cs anyways meh man. A lot of good players surf often. Are they also trying to give up on getting better? -

It's a game mode where one can smack talk to another for being better, must be a crime to have fun. Not to mention the game type replicates a highly competitive TEAM sport. Why not have some fun with it and make a league for giggles? It also can relieve a lot of animosity between teams, especially in pug matches. -
