  • Why does saiden keep saying 2011? This was 2013 cfs qualifier, we have 3 ex teamates saying that this happened, I think that's enough proof?

Please stop posting, it makes me question your intelligence.

99% of the community had nothing but respect for Carbon. Just stop embarrassing yourself even further.

    guess I'm that 1%

If the timeline don't fit you must acquit.

  • So you are saying that Iceman had no other potential motivation for Ghosting for Ace Gaming? Age is but a number Christian. Just because Iceman isn't a "Teenager" doesn't mean he isn't capable of breaking the rules. More adults break laws then teenagers do. We just like to bch more because we can. And we speak up for ourselves unlike some Lib**** adults...

Rob could of easily accepted a bribe as I did. Yes, a business contract is all nice but the reality is how much is Iceman really profiting out of the competitive "business" he has in this community? I wouldn't doubt he would accept a bribe.
    2. Iceman kissed Ace Gaming's ass for as long as I can remember. When we worked in ESL together, to doing our own thing, in ESG. The only unbiased and fair person out of everybody in ESG was Erick. Erick knew everybody, was chill with everybody and was FAIR with everybody. Iceman was never fair in my opinion but out of respect of what he has and was doing for the community, I kept my thoughts to myself.

    3. Iceman had an easier opportunity, easier cover up and better back up support. Of course Polleus, his business partner will defend him. Of course Mike, his business partner who Iceman also pays to do work for ESG, will defend him. Of course, GM Saidin will probably defend him because GM Saidin is bias himself towards Ace Gaming and he has been working with Saidin for god know's how long.

    4. & not to my surprise, Erick doesn't belief Iceman and looks at PROOF right in front of him. AN ACTUAL STATEMENT FROM A TEAM MEMBER ON THE ROSTER that states "ICEMAN GHOSTED FOR LIFELINE WHILE I WAS ON THE ROSTER", IS PROOF.

If I were to come out like I did and Carbon were to deny the allegations made against them, they would of been shut down. I don't see any reason why not to take Sockeyes seriously and take his allegations seriously.

I may be misunderstanding this, but are you saying that the matches occurred in 2011 (which they did not) and that if they ghosted in 2011 then it doesn't matter duo to it occurring a long time ago?

First off, CFS S1 was last year in July - 2013, not 2011. Carbon was banned 6 months after the occurrence of them ghosting and it was still deemed relevant. CFS S1 was only a few months before the WCG Qualifier where Carbon had ghosted. That being said, if Carbons ban was still relevant then this is too.

    ^^ Agree Completely

On my own level, at this point in time nothing is accomplished by watching replays of matches in 2011.

So after all that, no we have not observed the replays and likely are not going to bother doing so. Frankly, the accusations are absurd to begin with and even more so because this incident happened 3 years ago.

I am only going on what I have in front of me, which seemed to be much less evidence. So the point was "given there is less evidence, why bother arguing the point since it isn't going to change the outcome of something that happened in 2011."

  • Why are we still talking about what went on in 2011 or 2013? It's half way through 2014, who cares about the past? This is why the Competitive side of Crossfire has died as a whole, how many teams are out there now? 5 or 6, that actually have been together longer than a couple weeks or at the most a month? Immaturity is over running Competitive CF.

This. Immaturity has always ruined it. Competitive CF is full of immature teens/early twenties-aged people.

Lots of people think being a troll is cool. The only one who can get away with it is Doop, as he's actually done things in the game and occasionally says something intelligent.

Prime example of an unintelligent troll who brings nothing to the community? Carlos.

All he brings is an ego boost to everyone who reads their post, as they know at least one person they are much smarter than.

I know we all can be immature and whatever, but some of it (most of it) goes to far. I'm done talking though, let them ruin what they want too, I could careless. I haven't been here since 2011, and I don't plan to return anytime soon to the competitive side. It's all a prime example of why this side of CF has failed. Even though, the immaturity of some shock me, I figured people would grow up and get a life, a job, maybe do something? I'm not sure, but if this was coming from young teenage kids to preteens, I could tolerate the situation a lot better, but most of this drama is coming from people 21 and over.

lolololol, WHO CARES ABOUT THE PAST? Are you ******ed or something? Everything is based from the past, with no past there is no present NOR future. Why do you think there is such a thing called HISTORY?

With your **** logic, all prisoners should be released from jail cus we don't give a **** about the past.

On my own level, at this point in time nothing is accomplished by watching replays of matches in 2011.

Since we know at this moment in time, Iceman is not ghosting for anyone. Iceman, and ESG are official contracted partners. We pay them to run tournaments for us. Iceman doesn't ghost for anyone because it goes against their business principles.

Iceman is not some unknown teenager (apologies if that offends anyone). He is a business owner and partner and is getting paid to run tournaments for CrossFire. This is not some unknown fact.

CrossFire NA currently has 2 partners, NESL and ESG. Both under contract by us. etc etc etc.

In 2011, Iceman was a moderator and a big connection to the competitive community. He was able to be the eyes and ears for our staff members when our staff members (namely me) could not attend any specific tournament or event.

From what I can tell a conversation which was recorded from some members of lifeline back in 2011 talking about ghosting, and Iceman happened to be in the room as an observer in the game. To many people this seems to mean that he must have been somehow involved in a ghosting or cheating incident.

From what I understand the people who have come out to say that ghosting happened were people who have either been involved in cheating in the past, or are no longer involved with the teams today.

I do have to specifically note here that this is my understanding of the situation at current. I may not know the specific details. But we're talking about matches from 2011. If this is all people have to complain about then we have a deeper issue.

It seems to me that there is a lot of hate and resentment from the 1 year ban Carbon received for cheating (specifically a ghosting incident if I'm not mistaken).

The thing with that is that the ruling on the field stands, we're not in a position to just reverse the ban on play for that team because a couple members weren't involved, or are "better players", or who apologized.

I have shared drinks with Carbon, and good times at CFS Season 1, I was sad to know that a few of them were involved in these things in the competitions after, and I was sad for some of the members of Carbon who I respect and know were likely not directly involved.

Not to mention I have come out specifically in defense of the absurd red-dot nonsense that seems to come up all the time with various players. Come to the defense of players in Carbon, and players in LifeLine in the past because I know that they are just being victimized by the mob of people.

But the terms of that incident stand, we can't reverse them.

Now it just seems that people are digging into a 3-5 year history of the game to find some very thin story and piece together nonsensical evidence to try and support a theory they've already made their mind on.

The reason why we step in is to hopefully provide some elements people can trust in so far as that there is not a conspiracy happening at every moment in this game.

So after all that, no we have not observed the replays and likely are not going to bother doing so. Frankly, the accusations are absurd to begin with and even more so because this incident happened 3 years ago.

The fact that he is a business partner does not make him immune to corruption. That's a silly assumption. I am not accusing Iceman of ghosting however, I just ask that you watch the replay. It's gameplay of what officially happened, and should be reviewed. I don't understand why you would not even consider watching the replays, as it is standard procedure with banning any hacker. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my previous post.
