I fail to see how this is very different than the DavidLive situation, except Iceman and Kanata are being far worse than David, and are attempting to cover it up.

I think that the moderating team is making a prudent decision to see where all of the "evidence" will fall.

ERICK and Sketcheyes both apparently have a lot more evidence - as well as several other witnesses - to bring forward as time goes on.

I think it's a wise choice for them to wait and not comment until everything settles down - even if that means waiting 3-4 more days.



Edit: That said, Roth and Malte ****ed up big-time immediately backing out and saying "We never ghosted, we would never do that, we would never even consider it, we never even talked about it."

Now there's video evidence invalidating what they say (since they've lied). In my eyes, this means that Sketch's "testimony" becomes far more valid. As I argued in a prior post,

There is no reason to lie about something you didn't do.

This is something that concerns me. Kanata (Roth and Peter in particular) time and time again have been given preferential treatment by administrators and staff.

While that is undeniably something that comes with being at the upper echelons of the game, it is no reason to overlook serious and reprehensible allegations.

I don't think that they've "ghosted lots", and I agree with you that it's reckless to draw conclusions from the fact that they lied.

However.

I think that "one small lie" invalidates their argument; it does not necessarily mean that they lie about everything. It does mean, however, that they lose the right to adhere to their previous "our word vs his" defense.
