CrossFire "Failed to connect to server"

I din't wrote this, but i can't give the link of the site so i just copyd what they said. [Alot people said thanks to it]
try doing the following things.
Reset your modem.
then go to your start menu and put in the search "RUN" then click on it and type CMD and press enter.
once you've done this you should have a black background window with a grey edge type into this this window the following comand;
ipconfig /flushdns
this will then flush your DNS cache (essentially useless chunks of data that can cause your internet to drop off).
if not you could try opening the ports on the game itself and ESL on your modem. Dont worry I flush my own DNS cache almost weekly, it's safe.
if the problem continues contact support.
Make sure you restart your computer.
-Add crossfire to your Anti-Virus & Close firewall

as you know i had the same problem. well i got this fixed by ''searching for solutions''
alt ctrl del then i deleted that and simple have restored it again did work for me. -

I tried it.. And it crashed my computer lol.
It was a system 32 process, and my computer glitched and crashed.
Guess that isn't the problem :P -
