X-Trap 10-0300-800C0006-104 ( After .ini)

Hello ! ,

I send a ticket ! nothing happened ! after the " Failed to download version .ini " and after i made the edit to the text " Version " ! it worked ! and the Patcher started to load too ! then before the HGW ! the X-Trap files start to download at the left corner down the screen ! but the X-Trap didn't download and i got this error ! says " The Access to X-Trap patch server is unstable or X-Trap update wasn't able to run properly. Please, restart game. " ! Code_Field 10-0300-800C0006-104 !! i had this error few weeks later ! just after the wave mode ! then i got bored ! because no one is answering or trying to put a solution ! then i got bored again ! and for 3 days now ! i am trying hard to find a solution ! ! i know GM's are busy ! but... please Try to find a solution for this !... if u need any information from me that can help ! feel free to ask !... but please try to fix this problem ASAP !...

Which OS are you using? Also did you put anything in your "hosts" file to bypass X-Trap?
Remove any IPs you may have used to bypass X-Trap in your "hosts" file. Otherwise, delete your X-Trap folder and let it repatch...

i just downloaded CF from z8games ! lol ! there is nothing ! no hacks or something or problems ! i have AVG ! its fine ! and added CF to the exceptions list !

do u remember the wave mode ! some people had a problem ! with Failed to download version .ini ! and GM's told us that we have to edit the version in cross fire folder ! that's what i did ! the patcher started and before hgw could load ! the X-trap didn't update ! x-trap always download some files ! u can see it on the right corner in the bottom ! it didn't !

and yeah deleted the X-Trap Folder ! it was empty any way because i didn't open it ! before since the wave mode ! disabled my AVG ! still same problem !

any GM or Mod ! that can answer to this problem ! most of the people who had the failed to download version .ini have this problem too ! and i think its new ! because i didn't find any solution for it !! and still searching tho !

Bump again !

Ok now ! i got the game from my friend ! when i opened it ! didnt work !... said " failed to download version.ini " ! since i know how to fix it ! i coped the version file or text ! whatever.. to the Crossfire i just got from my friend !... got the same X-Trap error ! then i coped the x-trap folder from my friend ( Cross fire 2 ) to my Crossfire ( Crossfire 1 ) didnt work !

so i coped all the x-trap and backup and hgw all the ( Folders ) from Cross fire 2 ! to 1 ! didnt work !... i don't think its in the windows ! because cross fire was so fine like 2 months ago !.. played every day !... my windows is Original !... don't know what is the problem ! it seems its in my Laptop !.. but my laptop is fine !... how come when i downloaded the patcher after the wave mode ! the game destroyed files in my windows or something !... that's what happened ! so that's why the problem in the windows ! doesn't make any sense to me !

PLEASE GM'S THIS PROBLEM HAPPENED TO MANY PLAYERS ! MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO GOT FAILED TO DOWNLOAD VERSION .INI GOT THIS X-TRAP PROBLEM ! AGAIN THE CODE IS

[10-0300-800C0006-104] ! I AM STILL SEARCHING FOR A SOLUTION !!! IF FOUND WILL POST IT HERE !..

IF U ALREADY FIXED THIS PROBLEM ! AND I AM KINDA STUPID I DIDN'T FIND IT ! PLEASE CAN SOMEONE POST ME A LINK OR SOMETHING OR TELL ME WHAT TO DO !..

Still no solution !.. or any GM ! telling that he will fix or something ! total ignore !...

hope to find a GM or Mod replying to this problem with a solution or something !

delete the XTrap folder and start up Crossfire. It will force a new version of XTrap to download. It sounds like your XTrap is corrupted


If that doesnt work then you have to redownload the game

So read the instruction for your code and try-it.

If no solution work - take a deep breath - and go made a clean windows install
After you clean install windows + all update drivers - go install crossfire then see how is work.

p.s. CF client is tested by z8 staff always on a clean windows - means no other software or programs installed - also this means : no malware and no trojans infection from obscure sites.

llolls ! i tried every thing u said !... Deleted X-trap folder ! same problem ! deleted hgw same problem !.. deleted both !.. for like 100 times ! same problem !..

and of course i already downloaded the game from z8games !.. but when i download it ! it comes with the " Failed to download version.ini " .... when i edit the version file ! ! i get the xtrap error !.. and its not my windows btw !.... because when the wave mode was released after the patcher ! i got this xtrap error !..... hope to u get it !.. in 1 day nothing can change in the windows ! i dont install new programs !.. same programs i had when the game was running same programs i have now !.. its all happened after the damn wave mode !! every u think i can say i made it !.. all i need is a check from the GM ! and the Dev Team !.............................................................................................................

I am now getting error after the newest xTrap patch and I've tried to delete folder, add Cf on expception list. Still doesn't work.
