[Official] 2014 Indianapolis CrossFire LAN

It is finally here!

Announcing the 2014 Indianapolis CrossFire LAN. This event will be held August 9th - August 10th at the eBash Video Game Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Modes included are Search and Destroy as the main mode and Ghost Mode as an exhibition mode.

6609 E 82nd Street
Indianapolis, Indiana USA

Hotel
There are several hotels located near the venue. The cheapest rate will be at the Motel 6. When booking, please ask for the "ebash" rate. Rooms will be $35 for 3 people per room or $44 for 4 people per room.

Prizes
The current prize pool will vary on the amount of team teams that show. Here is the average estimate of the prize pool.
10 teams = $2250
16 teams = $3600
20 teams = $4500
Please except the overall prize pool to increase as we gather sponsors.

Rules
Search and Destroy
In game rules will follow the route of the CFS ruleset with a few modifications.
Ghost Mode
Since there is no "standard" ruleset for Ghost Mode, we have opted for the best balance between GR and BL. Please go here for rules.


Registration
Pre-Registration before August 2nd = $40/person
Registration between August 2nd and event = $50/person
Please go to the offical site HERE to register your team. Each team member will need to register independently.

2 day event is gonna be the downfall of this lan. Most people won't be willing to get a hotel. gl anyways you're doing a lot.

There are pros and cons to it being a 2 day event.

Pros
-Dont have to worry about getting all of the matches done in 1 day.
-People travel from far away, so giving them an extra day to hangout and play makes it worth it. We want to avoid another FG LAN delay.
-Some see it as a vacation.
-Add more activities to do besides the tournament matches.

Cons
-More days = more money for hotel room.
-Getting off from work that long could be a problem.

Motel 6 right by the lancenter has a deal of $30 a night. If you can't afford $60 for two nights at a hotel you should probably quit cf and get a job

Jon does a lot for you guys, the playerbase for this game is really small for NA and you guys are having a LAN at a decent place from the looks of it. He has to put in a lot of time to talking business stoofz with companies and as well as put in some of his own money to set it up. I may not play anymore (not a lot) but damn good guy Purvis. Hes doing more than Z8games will every do in terms of competitive play. Even though i am not attending thanks Purvis for setting this up, and goodluck to all.

Money is not the issue. I have a job and make good money but idk about your parents but mine won't let me stay in a unknown state for 2 days. Like everyone said motels are kind of disgusting.

I've been talking with Purvis, and my plan is to attend the event and cast. Though this will depend on timing with my family vacation and things like that, my plan is to be there for it. Hope to see you all then!

If your mom or dad has any say in what you can and cannot do past the age of 17, you shouldn't come to the lan, because you will be **** railed by everyone.
