Can't record in-game.

Hi,

I don't know what is happening at the moment. Like 1 month ago I was able to record in game now I can't anymore when I press the button for record with my screen recorder this open a windows box and say this as windows box name: Crossfire: crossfire.exe - Aplication Error. This say this inside the windows box: Instrution to 0x6bc02bb5 use the memory address 0x00400000. The memory could not be in a state 'writen'. Under that is the button for click Ok for close the game program. I also can record in game menu but not in the game while playing. Something this say the same thing but with 'read' in it.

I re-oponed my computer and this don't work so if you can fix me problem I will be glad to know that.

I will try something new... I will uninstall it and re-install it I hope this will work.

The recorded program that I use is Action Mirillis, the problem never came before . Maybe with this info you guys will be able to help me more.

This is the error I got the traduction is up on the first comment for english for what is in the windows box if you don't understand french.

I contact the company of my recorder.. this not should be my recorder cuz 1 month before all was working good. The company of my screen recorder test all game with it they respond me with this: our issue is probably related to your game memory which cannot be read due an error. You should try looking for a solution in game developer forum.

So can you guys help me.

You are probably right I need any Mods for answer but they are not rlly that active I guess.

Seriously, no mod is active or what? I need a mod to help for answer my question maybe they know, but this is maybe really the new Xtrap update that block all screen recorder aww. You should fix Xtrap if this is the problem seriously.

Yes delete it and try other programs like Truecore said before...

I think of a thing compared to what I read in your error, your video is in it enrengistre document, because I see that it can not be in writing mode, I think a change location or right-click on the document or hard disk and property> security> Edit> and check full control
( faire un clique droit sur le document ou disque dure puis propriété > sécurité > Modifier > et coche controle total)

No I don't cause I bought Mirillis, I won't bought another one. The Mirillis support says that they can record in game. Me I can't, they said this is maybe a bug in game. The crash error doesn't have any link with a Mirillis problem. I can record in the menu when I log-in but after... if I try to record this is crash and says all time the same thing.

Fraps is not that really good. This take too much Gygabyte and use too much ram + you lag in the game cuz of it. Mirillis is just perfect and there have no lag and this doesn't take too much place for a long video. The compression is awesome. I never try bandicam and camstudio.. how much they cost I just want to know.

Now I was able to record in game after the menu. When I try a game in FFA eagle eye for try again the game close in my face but now without any error message.

.... after each update / patch have this game new bugs and errors.
Report this to Z8Games and please be patient. Noone can help you with this software here and CrosFire, only the official support Team.

I already did it, they can't help me, they said I should try on forum. But I guess no one can help me too. I am a editor, I edit clips and stuff, I am also a Youtuber. I already bought one program and I don't want to bought 3 for that works and have back some problem. I should find someone that can help me fix this ****.

try to start the programm as admin ... different os
native ... lossless ... recording settings
... capture on tutorial map ... lobby ?

P.S yeah like op stated ... close all unneccesarry processes... and set ur ingame settings to lowest and grafikal settings to high performance ... just mess up around ... *..* like u already did.

I am on Windows Vista, before I was able to record. Now I can't, I don't play this game for a while so I tought maybe that was the newest patch that scrap everything. The program is always opening as admin also.
