I am using AMD FX-8320 8-Core
its 30 without any game on CPUID HWMonitor
but when i open CF its changed to 68 and fan become very loud from speed rotation

i was using it in normal temp before i dont use any program now like anti-virus or other programs to use much from processor
i dont want to downgrade GHz or lock 4 cores

That processor should not see temps that high.
Really should not see above 60.
How is the condition of the stock heatsink fins?
Use another program to verify the temp?
You may need to redo the heat sink compound.

I do not remember what my stock cooler specs were, but with my h-100i on that chip I do not see above 30 degrees while recording and playing cf... and having everything open in the back ground lol.

tldr: 68 is way too high for that chip, either false reading or there is a problem and that chip will burn up.

hmm ... try to set ur gpu settings to high performance
advanced users may
undervolt ... throttle fans to avoid high temp usage

did u bought this processor used ? or u made overclocking or tried it ? its highly danger if u don't know how to make especially to amd processors

tell me if u made overcloking and send msg i dont llok at forums alot but ur proplem not in ur gpu its in ur motherboard and cpu it might be about overclocking

I have the 8350 and I barely pass 40 but I do use a Corsair H100 Liquid cooling for it.

- Where did you get it from?
- Did you install the processor yourself?
- How long have you had it?
- What CPU cooler are you currently using?
- What programs are running? (Use Windows Task Manager > Processes > CPU) what number does it give?
- What is the current Vcore settings. It might say 103.0 x 16.0 for 1 core.
- CPU frequency. Should say like 4.542Ghz.
