  • +1 No nade damage for sure. Gdfo cheating kids.
  • such bust.

OP: This should be dealt with swiftly.
  • Nades are client-sided, not server-sided.

In other words, it's entirely possible that grenades can kill 2 people on entirely opposite sides of the map, or for one smoke grenade to block off multiple different places (depending on the players).

That said, and even more controversial, Kanata mis-ran the AC (so it didn't report their logs), and Slaya chose not to DQ them.

In spite of DQ'ing Unison for exactly the same thing.

    ****ing pathetic.

ace gaming can do whatever they want, like have 3 in the room at 9:16 and force use to play at 9:50

    "Nade Splitting"

Edit: The first video it looks like the nade gets thrown from BC.. the person in there threw it really close to the corner so on req's client it probably landed in BC but on head's client it landed where it did.

I don't see anything fishy and I don't think he was cheating.
  • Yeah well, with Ace Gaming, the Admins are forced to think, should we do this or that, is this fair or unfair. But with other teams they just follow protocol and don't care (Even if something may be unfair) Everyone should get the courtesy that Ace Gaming gets.

I don't see anything fishy and I don't think he was cheating.

Having casted numerous games, this happens occasionally. For example, a nade will fly bounce off the wall as a player is trying to throw it and hit him full on but no damage. That's because in non-spectator mode(meaning in live action from the players pov) the nade didn't bounce off the wall.

Btw sauce wasn't me casting :D

Splitting nades can be recreated very easily and doesn't require someone being in spectator mode. It's most common when someone throws a nade very close to a corner of a wall.

Sorry the sound was very low on the video and I heard you were going to be casting stuff in the future so I automatically assumed..

Anyways... It's pretty safe for me to say with complete confidence that Req wasn't cheating. I'm off to bed.

Ahh I see. Yeah I casted Spring Cup finals, and ESL finals with tilt. Not the matches before though.

Please get this notion of favoritism out of your head, there is no love lost between myself and the members of Ace Gaming. I acted in a fair and impartial manner that I saw appropriate, and would treat any other team the exact same way.
  • Always thought req was fishy, but who knows.
  • So what you are saying is that a $500,000 invested Anti-cheat was bypassed?

There might be an extra 0 added by mistake.

Here is a quote from SK Gaming news letter.

"No sponsor would ever cover the mid 6 figure costs of an anti-cheating software."
  • I don't think it was added on by mistake. Read under the first question asked.

"That is costly, so we had to invest a mid 6 figure sum of money in creating this program, in order to finally solve the horrible cheating issue that has plagued all eSports games in recent years."

Just to point people to where I think everyone is getting the six figure amount from.

I personally didn't DQ unison, that was zzxq.

Do you still need a tissue to wipe the tears off your face from never getting past 1st round?

Wow that's just harsh. And he made it into CFS qualis #2 finals. But that's because he got carried there by me and others.

I would like to clarify Unison and Ace gaming difference because while similar cases they were not identical.

Ace could prove Malice was on the AC because while that specific match was not launched properly, he was still on the AC client properly, whereas in the case of Unison that player just failed to be on AC properly altogether.

As for the issues with req, while yes the nades look awkward and fishy, we can assure you the logs for his ESL Wire and Moss showed no signs of cheating.

Also in defense of some of the heat slaya has got I would like to say that I have stood by every call he has made, even if it was against my own team. While some judgement calls I may disagree on, he has not showed any bias by the rules, so to say otherwise is untrue. I just tend to over evaluate some disputes just to be thorough and make sure no team is unfairly moved on. So while yes, bio, you may feel like you were cheated, I can assure you it is not true. Ace had 5 on Client, and their is no evidence any of them were abusing rules or cheating.

If you ever need a rule clarified please do us all a favor and ask before a match not after, it will make things easier for both admins and players. Moving forward if you have any concerns or questions on the rule set, feel free to ask Slaya and I.
  • i didnt watch the match, but im guessing at some point he took nade damage besides that round

or are you people going to say he toggled the no nade cheat lol

how about you being an admin, but starting a match 4v5 as someone uploads his ac logs since he got a game crash on a loading screen? guess i should of ended the process instead of uploading the ac data so you could get knocked out 30 seconds faster.

not that it matters your team still lost 4v5, but iwas pretty sour in mumble

Insert Drel's Shots Fired Pic Here

Also, not sure why he would cheat with something so dumb.

For a community that often talks about how bad the reg in this game is, is it really a surprise that nades frequently don't do what you expect? You see it quite often, if you're paying attention - People eat a nade to the face on your screen but they take no damage, having had it go off somewhere completely different.
