cf is finally dying?

Normally, or well a couple months ago/last year, I remember scrimming until 2-3 am est as everyone would go to sleep at that time. Today, It wasn't even 10:30 when me and my mates decided to go play other games because we couldn't find a scrim.

Have people finally moved on from cf?

People were probably tired from their ESL / Spring cup matches today.
  • all the good players left, and all the 15 year olds have bed times...

    Ouchieeee
  • Well IDK what game you have played 6 months ago but I haven't seen CF as active as you have described for years.

Last time it was remotely that alive I was still in wRp - ruling wogl P season 2 before DQ, thanks nova/spires/kyuu/honest. #youowemerk$166! That has been around 3 years give or take. Hell, I miss the forums when it was constantly a flame war of people posting scrim outcomes. Cause at least then teams wanted to run it back to earn their SS victory.

Hopefully these cups/tournys not only bring back some of the sexy old players that these young bloods don't know about(maybe dweez or kahlan? << Rifles of Legend!), but also new players that can arise through the ranks and give us old school kids more fodder in echo 8.

This would be great for me, being west coast, going to school, and working often makes it hard for me to be on when the games popping.

Grammar police, ^ Fix this for me! Its late and I already suck with grammar, sowwy.

if dweez was a more disciplined player snsd would of never lost a match

    Agreed.

I can name 4-5 teams from the past, playing at the same time, that would make this new powerhouse ACE look so mediocre.

No disrespect intended, but the skill cap in this game has lowered so much. Knowledge and play style has evolved, however the player base is just so weak now.

Finally, someone who points out the exact same thoughts as me. Too bad I make it more harsh and people end up getting mad.

    Yep.

I personally think people left the game, and then the remainders have been growing up for the past two years. I only see a couple of people from WOGL days still playing, very few from the previous ESL, but also seeing some new faces.

    So..
    ye.

Get upset when someone says CF players are not as good as they used to be? You are most likely the weak player we speak of!

Though I do like how Malte and Blitz are still going strong as the longest duo "butt buddies" to play together. Respect!

I remember mine with mav! :( Those were good times

Well I got some great news for you then. Stick around for another week or so and you'll find out what I mean.
