I sent in a simply ticket to request for a name change, almost 2 weeks have passed by and my ticket it still open? Is it possible for this to go any faster...
No, becouse Name change is not really important they skip it and look for other tickets.
While you want change you name, Alot people get scammed and try to get them account back.
But the support is in the last few weeks a bit slow..
normal you get it in 1 week, so i dont know why it take's SO long. -

Not true.. last time i send a support ticket for a name change i got a response within 3 days. ( that was 2 months ago )
Roughly a week ago i send a support ticket for a different issue and now 8 days later still no response.
So there is definitely something up with the support system. -

I don't know the specifics of the prioritizing, but there is a priority system in play.
But it's fairly obvious that name changes will be right down there at the bottom.
That said, 2 weeks is unusual. If you've indeed confirmed that there is no reply, I'd delete it and create another.
Make sure you already have a name change purchased and ready.
And to answer your question, no. Trying to gain attention and increase response time by creating a forum thread doesn't work. Support staff doesn't read the forum. Those of us who read the forum do not handle tickets.
