@Whomever is going to give me answers.
Preferably this be towards Saidin himself, but if anyone can help that'd be greatly appreciated. Fly Society still hasn't received their checks from ESG, and we're wanting to seriously know what's going on. They were supposedly stopped in accounting and sent out weeks ago, but still no sign of them. Speaking for myself and my team I just want to know what's going on. If something has happened and they haven't been sent it would be a lot easier for you to contact us and tell us there is a problem instead of not telling us anything. Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks, Fresh

I sincerely apologize for the delay, I don't really know what is going on. I forwarded the issue to Saidin. Hopefully he'll get back to you soon. -

Let me look into this personally. I'm sorry about that.
Just to let you know there is a "process" with all this. ESG is certainly finished their part and the blame for the delay rests solely on us here.
We have an accounting department, as much as I'd love to give you guys the money out of my bank account, you pro gamers would eat me out of house pretty quickly if I did!
I will check with the financial team and see what happened to the cheques. As far as I know they were mailed out and you should have received them by now.
Once again I give my apologies. -

I would recommend paypal for future payment rather than checks, thats what we are planning to do with ESL to quicken the process. 2 events later is slow even for G4 Box, no offense I know its probably not your fault specifically, but that's quite a long wait for such a small percentage of what the game makes in profit =P -

They sent them to ace gaming. Although you won the event, it was only because they were busy. -

My apologies for using the forums for this subject as well I should of tried to get in contact with you in a different way, but I was looking for a quick response. Thank you for taking the time to figure out what is gong on. There is also no need to apologize just as long as both parties are on the same page.
Cheers, Fresh -

I find it hard to believe that a company such as yourselves has this big of an issue with communication. If a 10 year old can mail Flat Stanley to another country, then I can expect your company to be competent enough to mail checks out.
I guess this further explains why things are going so slowly with updates and fixes such as a new website, forum, game issues, and etc.
I know I have been down this road before with the payout for prizes from the FG LAN but that was a different story since we had multiple people give out prizes. G4Box on the other hand is a company and shouldn't have any problems with simple task like this.[GM]Saidin wrote: »I'd love to give you guys the money out of my bank account, you pro gamers would eat me out of house pretty quickly if I did
On another note, I don't find it amusing how you and G4Box have been communicating with me. You said previously to use proper communication sources such as an email, which I kindly did but you changed your email. So I had to use a Mod to help relay the conversation. Even with this, I still get no response and you show once again how poorly your company communicates.
I have been gracious enough to get another LAN going but it seems like G4Box doesnt "have the budget" to give even give $500 which is the same amount from FG LAN.
Perhaps you guys are short staffed and are overloaded with work which I can see being the problem. I know that you personally show a passion for the game but it seems like there are things that are holding you back unfortunately.
If you would like to talk further about this, feel free to contact me via email, skype, or phone since you have all of that already. -

We had faithful community members give money out of their own pocket for the previous LAN. If you truly care about this game and your job, it would be nice if you could give money from your own pocket since this would benefit the game which your company manages.

This is where you are wrong Purvis.
Since FG LAN you have continued to pursue your interest in the competitive community of our game, which is cool and all, but your attitude is getting annoying and quiet frankly you have no idea how any organization works based on games, or 'eSports' seeing how you're complaining about funds.
Yes. The delay by G4BOX is a little odd and would be upset just like Fresh if I didn't get my $$$.I have been gracious enough to get another LAN going but it seems like G4Box doesnt "have the budget" to give even give $500 which is the same amount from FG LAN.
For one, G4BOX doesn't need you and never will. They can make whatever they dish out without you just fine, don't you worry. That's why they've called upon ESL and ESG. Not Purvis. Not someone who thinks they're 'GRACIOUS ENOUGH' to make a LAN is going to get it and 'demand' funds. G4 needs to make money too, so remember they need to make profit in the long run.. especially for the fact they probably run on a yearly budget.

Just letting you know, paypal is far worse than mailing cheques. Paypal is stupid and to anyone who are willing to take paypal are pbvious new to online trading. It is insanely easy to charge back on paypal(not saying esl will do this but you never know). Also there are people who get banned on paypal and it is not their fault that paypal offers trash tier seller protection when it comes to online sales. I personally owe over 6 grand to paypal because I took paypal when I duped tons of items on maplestory and buyers cb adter the items were removed. It is a pain in the ass to make a new paypal once you are paypal verified and most people will not bother with the hassle especially when the prize money is so minute. Cheques are far more professional, paypal just makes you look stupid.I find it hard to believe that a company such as yourselves has this big of an issue with communication. A 10 year old doesnt have a financial department, accountants, auditors and have to adjust journal entries. A company has more things they need to do because it is pegal procedures. Use your brain, be reasonable. This is not high school, it is the real world.
Also, stop trying so hard. Lets be realistic here. Saidin can say he loves this game all he wants for public relations, but he has no need to invest money from his own pocket. You know why no one really cares about this game to start a LAN except for you? It is because you are the only one trying so hard to save a game that is bound to die within the next few years. Anyone as intelligent as monkey already moved on. Those who are good and linger do not even waste time actually practicing anymore. The skill ceiling for this game is low and it is merely some passive cash flow into the top teams pocket. This NA scene can be compared to a dying terminal cancer patient and it will take a miracle to save this game. Any mid-level amateur team in csgo/league make way more than top teams in this game. Time for you to face reality, hs dropout -

Good idea, paypals quick and easy, as long as it's gifted and there's no charge backs, which i doubt would happen. Personally I think the players in the team should have an option to receive the cash via check or paypal. -
Also when should we expect the ZP from the ESG Spring series. We have yet to receive that as well.
Thanks!
On a side note, when I made post about this I was told to mind my business and that it was getting handled it's just interesting to see that it still hasn't been handled and that the same response is given EVERYTIME....

The mixup with the money owed for the ESG Series is complete our fault. I take full responsibility for that. My previous post was an attempt to keep it light. There is no doubt an issue came upwhich caused a delay in the cheques going out.
Am I going to go into those details publicly on these forums? No. It's not professional. Will the players get their money? Yes.Purvis, I appreciate your efforts to get a LAN going. But it's not economical for us as a company. Personally I had a blast at the last LAN, but me having a blast does not translate to a boardroom full of executives when you have to decide how many thousands of dollars and the working effort it takes to get a LAN together in the capacity you want.
Can I speed the process up any at this point? No.
Can we improve this process for the rest of the ESG tournaments which we're currently lining up for the summer? Yes.
Plus we're not expecting our players to pay thousands of dollars to come attend a LAN. We're also not going to force that upon our players in the event of a CFS Qualifying tournament.
I want you to try and get people together and have an amazing video game LAN party, play all sorts of games. Play CrossFire. Have a tournament. Have Fun. But at this moment in time, G4Box is not willing to support your independent actions for a LAN party.
