You wanted to join competitive, welcome into it. Do you really think these people are nice to each other all the time and offering different services such as "teaching how to play" all the time?
No most of the people here shts talk on each other, call everyone bads and rarely respect other people. Please, take a look at the recent post on this section and I can guarantee you that you can't show me 3 threads (that are about competitive play) where there wasn't an argument going on OR some kids trash talking on each other.

Here's a tip: No matter what type of flak people give you in-game and on the forums, brush it off, and keep playing. Don't let any type of mouthing deter you guys.
Joon didn't say that for nothing. You will learn really fast that by doing scrims and playing with competitive players, you'll get trash talk a lot.

It's not just about the in-game part I'm talking about. Myself and others are asking to keep side track convos out of this thread and keep that in game or through pms and not ruin a thread. Everyone has egos, who doesn't? It's about how much one has and how much one expresses that ego. One can choose to uncontrollably release his/her ego while other can hold it in and be able to control it like a mature person.
Last thing to say, I've never seen so much ego as cf comp/e8 comparing with all other games I've played. -

This is actually so hilarious. Why would your clan want to transition into competitive play if you can't handle a little trash talk? "No one actually plays" you are definitely a moron. Sure there is trash talk here and there but once you get into real competitive play and not stupid echo 8 pubstar competitive play it's nothing but respect. Please, instead of basing your knowledge off a gaming forum, how about you play the actual game first.

If you've ever played one match in your whole life against a decent team, it is, nothing but respect. There are good teams, and there are bad teams. There are teams that play to win, and teams that play for fun or are just new. If you had any brains at all you can be able to tell the difference. It's funny how people say competitive crossfire doesn't grow, yet there's esg and esl still here. It's also funny how everyone who says this either quit or is a pub player. Get your facts right before you post. -

Not a single person that I am friends with gamers has never heard of crossfire period. Cf comp doesn't grow, only the same ole ppl are playing while the mods and the organizations are trying to promote it to make it more appealing and interest players.

I'll say the same thing as the other guy I quoted. What's the point of coming here, talking about a community you don't even play with? Don't pretend you know us, because you don't.
I'll agree on the point that crossfire evolves pub at the first place, but at first, competitive players are pubstars that are looking for more challenge. Because let's be honest, who can't take a m12s or any overpowered gun in the game (and there's a lot); spray it out and finish with a 6.0 KDr? Everyone can. When you're a competitive player the pubstars side become so easy. Also, competitive players think that for being "better than someone" requires more than having a better ratio and winning 1v1s. And for being "better than a clan" it requires more than winning one clan war and then, refuse a rematch in case you lose. When you're a pubstars, there is no challenge at all in that game, because it's easy.
I'll just leave this right here and look at it before you reply.
