ESG Rule Set - Unanswered questions from Winter / Spring Series

First and foremost, I would like to plead with the community in asking that we keep this thread clear of any arguments and/or sarcastic remarks from previous situations. What we want to do now is have you guys post questions that you may have had about topics that weren't clarified officially in the rule set such as shadows or WTFast, etc.

Keep in mind, this isn't exactly a discussion thread. I simply want a compiled list of general questions that you would like to have officially clarified in our revised rule set. So please, work with us and help us to eliminate the gray areas so that we can help make things better for everyone.

Example posts:

1. Are shadows allowed?

2. Is Asian walking allowed?

3. Are custom (non-standard) kill marks allowed?

We will not be answering these questions now. I simply want a list of things that need to be better answered within our new rule set. Thank you all. Have a good day.

Do not bring up previous situations. Do not make any insults at or about ESG or it WILL result in further action regarding your ESG participation. We're trying to meet in the middle and make things better.

Will there continue to be use of subjective leniency in the case of late teams?

Will the rounds where illegal items are used by 1 team be given to the other?

Are you allowed to use wtfast to raise your ping instead of it's actual purpose?


Are custom kill sounds, not the removal of kill sounds allowed?
Are you allowed to record with bandicam at a 1-5 fps cap?
Is saving all replays still mandatory?
What is the ruling on sprays?

A more general question, will armor be used in the next ESG?

I looked into it, and my source was apparantly mistaken about that. It just so happened to be him making a beeping noise by pressing "alt", and it just so happened that his crosshair was on a teammate or opponent whenever he did it in a video he'd watched.
