Really ESG?

This whole thing happened for absolutely nothing.

We had Purvis sitting there in the lobby. There were 4 players from Ace Gaming in the room prior to 9:15 PM ready to play the match. One had to log out because they were still on the ESL client rather than ESG. Trio waited to take a screen shot while the 4th player was re-logging onto the client so it only showed 3 people. By definition, they had 4 players there and they can be forced to play with 4 players. That's why the Administrators let the match play out, which was the right thing to do. There was no favoritism here, just one team trying to scumbag their way to a win.

Let's say this was even true (It wasn't, req was not in the room prior to 9:15), you're saying that there weren't four in the room by the time the match was to be started. You're also saying that they had players in the room that were not on the ac, breaking even more rules and deeming ACE Gaming ineligible to play. By definition, we get the win.

  • @Polleus, in the thread you closed... Are you agreeing that YOU ARE enacting your rule of being able to change the rules whenever you feel like it?

The 1 minute to relog isn't in the rules, it's a courtesy which in the case of other teams would probably be ignored.

No, if there were enough players there to play a game and someone had to relog really quick, say because of a client error --- would it not be courteous to let them relog, which takes.... less than a minute or two?

Yes, I would enact our rule to allow a team to do that. ANY team. That's just common courtesy.
  • I was saying in a general situation, i.e. hence why I didn't name Ace Gaming. You guys are ridiculous in twisting words around. Seriously, it's a talent.

We already discussed this. Ruling is final. If you want to discuss it further, use our ESG site since this is an ESG matter or PM's. Don't open up more threads about it here and keep spamming the section.
  • Im sorry you can not understand what Polleus said. You take it as they were not on client during game time which is completely absurd. Now your just grabbing at straws to get a win that you otherwise would not have earned. Enough with this.
  • Somewhere in the rules it also states that they can change the rules whenever they want to.
  • ESG showing favoritism. and ace gaming acting like babies. nothing new here.

However, officially it's also against the rules... I don't understand how you're not letting a team dispute because you gave a subjective courtesy.

Polleus argued that since Kanata was in the room, but had to log out to run the Ac, they were technically there.

Want to know what happened when Caliber1 played Kanata with AC issues?

Polleus told us to play 4v5 at 9:15, or Kanata could get the DQ win. Kanata happened to be nice enough to wait for us to fix it, so we could play.

lmfao no favoritism at all, Polleus.

Regardless of wether or not they are changing the rules we should still get the win. If I make an alt acc today, and tomorrow z8 says the creation of alternate accounts is illegal, I would still get to keep my alt and I would face no punishment.
