Question about ESL League

Comments

  • I don't see anywhere in the rules that says "Asian walk is prohibidado " so I would say yes it's allowed.
  • I want to have a discussion about this, what I would call, movement abusement. Before I stopped playing, this type of walk was rampant and quickly growing. It takes such little time to master, gives peek advantages, and is incredibly silent. BHopping was not quite overpowered (other than perfect accuracy while crouching) because you would be giving up crosshair placement and the possibility of making sound if you failed. It also mysteriously came into the game after a patch, then was "nerfed" to what it is now. It's almost like it was planned to be implemented. It's small things like this that made me give the game up, you can't keep changing how the game works every year when everyone is used to how it was.
  • "gives peek advantages"

I don't even know what to say to that...

    Also, lol@cK

You don't know what to say because you know I'm right and you're half autistic.

I personally mastered ***** walking almost instantly because that is how I always played, I strafed all the time. At FG Lan I abused it and just annihilated most of my competition.

Look out everyone, LAN clutch master here.
  • It's just cause in ESL-EU its forbidden. Even can get banned for it.

I guess they need acceptance from the North American community.

Cause, doubt 60% of the people with stick with NESL when there's ESG.
  • Someone answer me this. Can it be done accidentally? Someone who strafes a lot stumbling upon this movement glitch/exploit. If it can, then how can it be determined (by a League official) whether someone was doing it intentionally or unintentionally?

I'm pretty sure it was only banned in CF EU because people made macros for it and they did it perfectly without even having to press anything. And I doubt it will be done accidentally. CF EU players complain a lot about everything though, they even tried to get AUG and SG banned from competition.

In theory yes, ESL is allowing it for our version, because essentially its just a sound glitch when moving a certain way. To ban this movement / sound glitch would be pointless, as everyone can do it, and it would be difficult to enforce.

    That was my point ^.^

Well, yes it's true that European players can't keep their fingers off the "enter" button, but asian walking is completely banned for the reason of; Bug abuse. But I'm just saying obviously, NESL won't do it cause they need North american players to accept them, European players have to accept cause, without esl.eu there's nothing in eu, but in NA there's always ESG.

Long story short; I knew NESL wouldn't ban Asian walking and I think it's unfair to eu.

So get them to unban it.

From what I've heard, EU has so many scumbags that even winners of the Weekly/Monthly cups would scam their own teammates and take all of the money for themselves.

    Wouldn't be surprised.

    They won't unban it, bro.

You know asian walking is a big habit to all the competitive players, and mostly the Portuguese threaten to "report" for it.

I would understand, if it was for the Crossfire Stars qualifiers, that it was unfair that one team was one team wasn't using it, but when they both use it but only one team saves the replay. It's as u say "scumbag material". I mean I even use it in CS:GO, my opinion, want something to be illegal? Fix it instead of ruining it for everyone. Half the people don't even know how to do it that's why they flame.

    European community is the worst.
