i5 3.2 ghz or fx 8350 4.0 ghz for cf

Dont go with AMD. Their system for ghz is slightly different from intel's, so its not really 4.0

they are par on most games, but heat, power consumption, stability, the i5 is better for gaming purposes in nearly every aspect

CF utilizes 2 cores, and the i5 will max most games if not all, 8 cores will be beneficial for professional applications such as rendering

I'm debating the same processors for my new build

the I5-4670k has better single core performance. The FX 8350 has 8 cores which might be better for future gaming and is $10 cheaper. Keep in mind the price of the motherboard..AMD is also usually cheaper
