Kings comeback from 3 games down,
Pretty much ruining my chances at being anywhere near the top of my bracket.
Yup, sums things up for me. The one year I chose Sharks and Blues (thinking they wouldn't choke for the first time this year) and I'm royally screwed.

I was camping with a whole bunch of buddies listening to the game.
We all got hammered AF after they won.
RIP Bruins, looks like all the smack talk meant nothing. -
any one buying milan lucic handshake line T-shirts?
LOL. I'm down.
People are like, 'What happens on the ice stays on the ice.'
WHAT HAPPENED TO SPORTSMANSHIP? LOL?
And then they compare it to in-game stuff, like uncalled penalties. THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS. -
Coming to the CrossFire side of the forums just to talk about the NHL playoffs. Always a good idea.
Anyways, I'm a DIE HARD Blackhawks fan, they've been my team since I started watching hockey (which was probably when I was about 5-6 years old.)
I will start right now and say that I'm not one of the fans that always believes that my team will go and win it all every year, no matter how bad they might be. I'm always a realist when it comes to sports.
That being said, I believe that there isn't a team left that is capable of beating the Chicago Blackhawks. Not one. Looking at the playoff picture at the very beginning of the playoffs, I said that the Blues, Avalanche, Bruins, and Penguins all had a 100% chance of beating the Blackhawks, which is why my original prediction was that the championship hangover would hit them hard and they'd be out the first round.
Once the Blackhawks won 4 straight against the Blues and the Avalanche were knocked out the first round, I instantly predicted them to be in the finals. The Kings own the Ducks and the Blackhawks own the Kings, there was no way they wouldn't be in the finals.
Then, the Penguins and Bruins get knocked out. HALLELUIAH!
The Blackhawks own the Kings and just because they had one bad game against them doesn't mean the Kings are right back in it or anything. Didn't the Kings beat the Blackhawks game 2 last year to tie the series 1-1, then the Hawks won 3 straight? I think they did because I recall the Blackhawks winning 3 straight games in the last 3 series (Red Wings, Kings, and Bruins) to win the Cup. I might be wrong but I think that is how it went.
Now, the Habs would have a chance to beat the Blackhawks in the finals but the Rangers seem to be showing signs that the Habs won't be there to face them.
Let me tell you this:
No matter HOW much of a Rangers fan you might be, it is 100% ABSURD to think they can beat the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS in a 7 game series. There isn't any way. An extremely shaky team who's had recent issues in having a home stadium to play that is SOMEHOW gonna be in the finals will NOT beat a team that's been a championship contender for the last 5 years, even winning the Cup for 2 of those.
If you have any spare money to bet, put it ALL on the Blackhawks and you'll come out richer than you were. There isn't a doubt in the mind of any Blackhawks fan and any REALISTIC sports reporter, even most sports fans, that the Chicago Blackhawks will not repeat this NHL season.
