Confidence
A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. — 'Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' — Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
I'm extremely drunk, but I wanted to impart on you guys a brief lesson.
See, I get a lot of flak for speaking my mind rather wholely. That is to say, I don't often say or do things poltiically. I just wanted to remind you that i want you to do the same in return. As Emerson says,
Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day
Its okay to be wrong, kids. Just be you.

"poem" tcha. While I do read poetry, that's an excerpt from one of the most powerful books ever written.
also lol@ "dont use armour blah blah"
Why wouldn't you practice for where you plan to go? Even if you fail the first time, or the second, or third, what gains do you ever achieve by assuming you'll lose?
On a side note, the only people who complain about the armour are m4 studs. That is to say, one would assume that they would appreciate the chance to practice against armour as much and as often as possible, on the chance that they get into playoffs, that way they are used to dealing with it. I certainly love when others armour; it's excellent practice. -

You are but another member of society trapped in the cycle of hypocrisy, I feel I understood from that -
yet around a month ago you complained when i used body armor in a scrim against you.
It was several months ago, but the response I now give to Malte applies to you.
Admitting you were wrong, and then strongly defending your new position, is not hypocrisy. -

you're off base. you're not above anyone else or any other team that warrants you the ability to pub/practice/scrim/w.e it is that you do with armor. I've pubbed against players from ace when they were using armor for cfs, no regular e8 players said a word unless they were playfully poking fun at them, if anything we respected it and wished them the best of luck. If you dont want to be put on the spot on forums or wherever stop doing dumb things like that lol. You are the reason you're targeted. -

Haha so, because there are better players than I, I should practice as if I plan to lose?
I cannot agree with you. -

it was not several months ago, maximally 2.
it was after i tore my acl which happened late january, so that leaves a span of two months
and just admitting you were wrong multiple times leads you to lose your credibility, and youve made quite a few "erroneous" in your time -

No, let me make it plain and simple. Play to better yourself today not for the facade that youve created for the future because they are short of un realistic -

Dude, just stop. M4 users don't like practicing aim against head armor, its annoying. But you already know that, you just do it to be ignorant. Do what you want in scrims, but either take it off or don't pub in E8.
