This is never going to happen, this is a fantasy lol.
There are MAJOR problems in this game that haven't been fixed for a longg time, this wont make them money either which puts it on the end of z8s list of things to do.

If they charged a monthly fee for the competitive server and gave all players unlimited name changes / armor and other needed items for competition, I think it could work and they would make money. I agree that they probably won't do it though.
The problem with that is half of the competitive players would pay for it and half would say "im not paying to play on a server of a f2p game". Then you have scrims going in two servers resulting in people switching between servers asking for 5s and if one person on your team doesnt pay for that you have to go back to echo to scrim. Eventually everyone just moves back to echo because its not worth the extra efforts to play the game when most leagues you dont need armor anyway. Who would pay a monthly fee for this game anyway? I know i wouldn't, plus you know its going to be an outragous amount because they have all the cn in alpha 7 buying armor regularly.
I still dont know why everyone wants armor in leagues, all it does is discourage people from using m4/aug and force them to use ak. It takes the same amount of skill and reduces the diversity between gameplay and players and makes the game a little boring, but thats just my opinion on it. -

This is definitely why I don't like the idea of armour being introduced into competitive, just using AK's gets boring, and obviously using M4 and other guns puts you at a disadvantage -

That's the ****ing point... The m4 is incredibly easy... So it's made for a 2 shot Headshot. The AK is more powerful but harder to control...
It's the same in CS... And that's what the CF Model is based off of.
Edit: I like the idea of a competitive server, but I don't think they'll ever give out free anything if they can make ZP off of it. They won't make armor free, they won't make the guns free. The whole point is to drain your character of GP (The repair system + expensive guns) so you're more inclined to buy ZP, and Armor is ZP to begin with.
They need an "NA only" server really, they need a server IP restricted to NA, or atleast capped off at 150 ping.
They also need to allow people to buy and use the Chinese versions of the AK/M4 at all times. It's ridiculous how they even send us to China when we have to get there, and then RELEARN the gun you're supposed to use.
North America would have a really good chance at placing high in International Events... If we played the same game that they do. -

Lol, the m4 and ak each have their own advantages. If the m4 isnt a 1 shot the ak shouldnt be either. -
The last time I googled this subject getting shot in the head results in death. Head armor is for kids that can't play.
OT: A paying server would never float as 95% of the players will not pay to play scrims against the same teams in essentially the exact same environment. Since they cannot maintain the current servers, adding another will not help. Why pay for another **** server because that's what it would be.
