Sudden FPS drop
So yesterday i was playing crossfire with 80-120 fps. Today i log in and im getting 30-50. I have no idea why, the only thing that i have changed is i downloaded steam + cs:go and i have already tried deleting them (also got terrible fps on cs:go). Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to why my FPS would drop so significantly out of nowhere?

check where all your graphics card processing power is going to and how much power it is actually generating. Your card(s) could be slowly dying; unlike me I had a similar problem like this and couldnt figure out for the hell of me what was going on.. turns out sire lpkane has a script in the esea client that would use my graphics card as a bitcoin miner which eventually killed my gpu
some info on what model gfx would be nice doe -

I am running intel. But in not sure, how would i check something like that?? -
can anyone help??
Ok so depending on your laptop updating your graphics driver can be different but if you know what kind of gpu you have you can just update it
If you have a Radeon:http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
If you have Nvidia: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
If its just an Intel Model: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
If your not sure which gpu you have then just go to your windows screen (main page) and right click and select graphics properties.
If that dosent work just follow this (didnt let me post the link)
-Click Start.
-On the Start menu, click Run.
-In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
-The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
-On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has. -

Since you have intel try going into the intel graphics and media control panel and set the 3d to max preformance and under power try the same thing. Reinstalling cf could work if you have the time and maybe spray some air into your fan slots it could help the slightest -
