Getting rid of cheaters ideas

I've been a member since 09 and in the cheating situation has gotten a lot worse

Here is a number of ideas ...

1.Higher rank server 2nd LT+

2.In game report option Like other versions of crossfire.

3.More in game GM's

4.Ip ban egypt like you did other country's players with newer accounts can't register. Or
give them their owns server name it EGYPTIAN SERVER lol.

5.Improve your bans in game. Players have like what 5 chances if they cheat to get banned and they can make 20+ accounts. You should do what VAC does if you get caught cheating ONCE you can't ever play again. Or give them a warning+ban then perm ban.

6.Ping restrict servers players with 150+ can't play in that particular server. Would make most of the cheaters get out of alpha. If you had an egyptian server they would all fled to this.

7.Hire more gm's+mods and give mods ban powers in game. They are way more active than GM's.

8. Advertise more... the population is decreasing. Crossfire brazil has 9 servers full like 9 alpha servers and there are not as many cheaters.

All these are good points.
+1 and man I'd love to be a mod ingame who could have some powers to stop cheaters.

Rank servers doesnt help, last days ive seen hacking majors, LTs and so on.

Those suggestions are good but I don't see them coming any time soon even though they have been suggested probably hundred times

Why not instead of banning cheaters (they would make a new account anyway even if they add restrictions there's always a way around them) just block them from the regular servers and throw them in a "cheaters only" server just like what Respawn did with Titanfall.. this way at least a small % of the cheaters would continue playing on the "cheating server" and wouldn't bother making a new account (especially if there's no notification showing that they have been blocked from the real servers so they won't know if they are banned or no except seeing that everyone in the room cheats), maybe only those that want to troll legit players will make new accounts.

a kid gets MOD on forums
I see him ingame, I 1 tap the ingame-MOD
he gets mad and shocked ( he thinks I cheat )
next round : I 1 tap him again.
he bans me

reason why ingame mods would not work.

a GM is more inexperienced than a MOD. A mod would have to be mature and know what they are doing. They need to be able too tell the difference between a cheater and a good player.

The closes I ever got to having ingame power was when Saidin was sitting next to me with his laptop out. He banned some player that interfered with the game.

I wanted to sneak over and use God Mode but I never made a move.

Played an Egypt TDM last night. 11/16 were speed hacking, aimbotting, and shooting through walls. 11/16.

Seriously IP Restrict like.. 2 servers to NA Only.

Also why would they do anything about the cheaters? Cheaters still buy ZP.

They already did the IP restriction. Too bad they didn't include those country with the most number of hackers. Ehem. :rolleyes:

They won't do Ping restriction, 'cause well, they say that it's racism lol.

The best idea would be to have a report feature where replays actually get reviewed.
