Judging by the way it currently looks there will be no LAN for CFS Qualifiers in 2014.
The current structure seems to look to be:
NESL Top teams vs ESG top teams with a final online hosted by ESG for the spot in CFS S3.
If they are planning a LAN for CFS S3 (Which I doubt) it would have to be sometime in late summer / early fall of 2014
Because the prize for our winning team for NA isn't given by just our version, a LAN most likely won't happen unless the higher ups give our version a lot more funding for competitive events. As it stands ESG is getting only 500$ per event, which isnt bad, but is not near what they would need to host a LAN. Unless someone is able to set up a professional LAN and then ask for it to be supported as the CFS S3 Qualifier, I would say there is no chance of it happening, at least not for this season of CFS.
Personally I feel like a LAN with the same rules as CFS would be the best way to pick the team to represent North America, but as I explained for the above reasons I don't expect one to happen. -

btw toree and everyone else were talking **** about you. and the only person who said you were better than me is toree. but i mean, i can live with someone being better than me, but if anywhere as half ugly as you, id definitely want to kill my self. -

Logic did better than my LAN ringer team
Logic has done better than me in some events, other events he hasn't. All in all he is pretty decent at the game. No need to bash each other over dumb things that are irrelevant. Don't know why someone would use me as a comparison, but thanks I guess. All in all I don't see why you are angry Juan. As for logic, you are weird as f.ck. But I miss your random kitten noises lol. -

i dont care if you've placed anywhere between 1-3 in ANY tournament that hasnt been ESG, WCG or CFstars. Because as good as you are to win those, you werent good enough to get out of the level where the rest of the CF community is: Online competition. -

I got 3rd in the first ESG league only losing to FS and Flawless and 4th in an OCG event where every good team besides Ace Gaming played only losing to Flawless 2-1 on maps and RTB 2-1 in overtime. You clearly know how good I am when the best win you have was on a team with me and Reid vs Kanzen. You could have had a shot at playoffs if you ran the AC we would have played welfare in round 1 of winter series. So if you want to sit here and dog on my accomplishments, when my worst placement in a event was one where you played for me, I think you are delusional. -

Unfortunately, they aren't allowed to use the lan client.
Well the FG LAN was the closes we got to a LAN Client with only 2 ping. Would like to see a LAN in the US though.
