And for the record, this is not something "Z8Games" decides, Z8Games isn't a company.
Nor is it something that G4Box, the company behind the Z8Games brand decides as they're just a publisher, not involved in the actual coding process of the game, nor owner of the game in itself.

And why would open source be good? Securing code makes it harder for hack developers...

Open source is amazing...

It allows for people to be creative and rely on their imaginations. Custom maps, custom game modes, and custom weapons that aren't in the game.

I don't know about anti-cheat but... Admins of servers in other open sourced games have the power to ban players in their server. ( Which is a plus and negative.)
