Join Time

Ok, this started as a minor annoyance and it's risen to the point of me not even wanting to play anymore.

I have no idea why, but when I go to join a game it usually takes a full minute to join a game after I hit "join game". A minute doesn't sound like much for a loading screen (especially for console ****s) but a minute is a LONG @$$ TIME IN VIDEO GAME TERMS. I've made sure my comp has the reqd updated drivers (directx, GeForce, etc...) unless I for some reason don't have the latest (links to the latest would be nice to make sure I have them).

So whats going wrong?

Its your Pcs fault..
Cf is good atm and not having problems.
Get a new Pc and it should be better!

Cf works everywhere..

its just your ping who will be bad if youre to far away from the servers

It's obviously something to do with your PC.
I've played CF on my laptop which is pretty old and it doesn't take that long to load...

See but that's the weird part. When I'm in game I don't lag with the exception of the first 5 seconds or so, after that my ping evens out.

It's not actually your PC's fault. After you load up, you also have to wait for all the other peeps to load up, or when the round is going to start, you have to wait at the loading screen.

Get a better PC.
