Are you saying CNC operators and engineers all have to work 10-12 hour shifts?
That is obviously not how it works, I've done CNC work and never more than 8 hours, or rather 7 with lunch.
Depends on where you live and where you work. -

for one you are european, totally different employment structure/culture, and typically here they work many hours, i find it very rare for any worker in manufacturing to work less less than 50 hours a week, blue or white collar, additionally, i really doubt he is an CNC engineer, more than likely an apprentice or CNC operator. let's be honest, CNC engineers usually hold a BS in mechanical engineering + jpurv = does not add up. -

Probably just a programmer or something, I'm not even sure what a CNC engineer would do.
We differentiate between programmer, operator and I suppose mechanic specialized on CNC machinery. -
We're near the monday.
The last three days my sister and her husband came and stayed with us. Next week they will come again.
But after a long week of work and a party on Saturday, doing something with my family makes me lose a lot of energy. Luckily they're gone.
Now i'm going to put football/soccer on and enjoy barca-real. -

I wish you a nice evening and a lot of Power for the next Week! Sincerly Dennis. -
Nothing. I like doing nothing productive any day, if I had the chance I would do nothing for the rest of my life, I'm incredibly lazy. However that being said, I try to push myself to actually do something on my days off, so if I end up doing nothing with my days off then I tend to work a lot more at work on Monday and after I get home.
