I keep getting this message and I'm extremely disappointed with crossfire.
Please fix this problem

turn off or set crossfire as an exception in any antivirus you have.

set crossfire as a firewall exception.

If you still have the problem and:
if you installed using the z8 downloader
try installing from the client http://www.atomicgamer.com/files/103770/cross-fire-full-client-v1122-free-to-play
