X-Trap Patch 11:45am EDT March 7th - Download Errors

Attention Everyone,

Today we updated X-Trap, and for the most part users have been able to connect and play as normal and download the update.

We have tested compatibility and have not found any errors. However we have seen some reports of players not being able to download this latest X-Trap patch which is then preventing them from playing the game.

We have 2 steps we would like you to do before we press any panic buttons.

The first one is to delete your X-Trap Folder.

Go to the folder where CrossFire is installed, and select the X-Trap Folder and then press delete.

Try the game after, X-Trap should automatically download without issue.

If there is still a problem we are asking for the IP information of those players who still have issues. We need to analyze why you're unable to connect with out network partners.

This comes up, I think because I am at the student accommodation for my university the university is blocking crossfire for me, can someone help me please

Where do I post my IP adress I am a university student staying in halls I think this is the problem, also this problem is not new I have had it for a couple of months

I also have this error tried deleting the x-trap but didn't work. how do i provide the ip address? please provide me a solution fast. gotta stay addicted...

[GM] Saidin. I have this problem too! If the problem and update Xtrap have an easy solution. Someone copies the updated, compact Xtrap folder with winrar. Puts on a download site. Download and replaces the folder Xtrap. Definitely solves.

I got the same problem i deleted the xtrap folder..but it dint help.. where can i post my ip address??

when you delete your xtrap folder and open launcher again theres nothing in xtrap folder..

Lol this happened to most of the hackers using that fapcf hack or whatever. Hahaha sucks for them.

After the wave mode patch I think crossfire doesn't run with windows 8 and 8.1...

i have same issue, its the server problem, not us
