I ask every team to wear armour. I wear it in hopes it will annoy others into doing the same.
Anything relevant will allow armour from here on out. Get used to it. -

because you playing with armor while your opponents are not is making you worse and your opponents better -

i still don't think it's a very courteous thing to do as you have to pay for it as of now, but it still is good practice
and teams should at least let each other know if they are going to wear it -

international competition isn't relevant to those who aren't going to compete internationally -
You don't see baseball players warming up with a lighter bat, then adding weight when they step to the plate.
Wearing armor while the opposing team isn't doesn't help you in the slightest bit, and if you think it does, you can't understand simple logic. -

Top 8 of ESG allows it. Prior to that, only the most recent CFS qualifier final match has allowed it. It's an incredible leap forward. Even if a team didn't have any aspirations of going to China, why would they not practice for where the leagues are headed?because you playing with armor while your opponents are not is making you worse and your opponents better
It certainly makes your opponents better.I guess you and J.staff/ A5 should be playmates then.
Up until this event, it was next to pointless to wear it. Now it isn't.

Sure it does. It, frequently (as with players such as Wizdom) makes players put it on to play you, who would otherwise lie and say they don't have it. It also allows you to make better decision making for when you do have armour in matches.
I don't understand your baseball analogy. If anything, it's in favour of wearing armour, is it not? -

in fact i'd argue that wearing armor doesn't help the other team either -

I suppose it would help THEM (the team without the armor) prepare for the top 8 in ESG. I don't even understand why this is an argument amongst the community. The answer is simple, if both teams aren't wearing armor, then no one should be wearing armor. -
