Joining game... dumb bug/problem

When I start the game it says "Joining game..." that window screen you see before a game, and then you can see the game from where you spawn but you cannot move or bring up the menu by hitting escape. you cant even press enter and chat. but there IS ON THING YOU CAN DO, and that is GET SHOT and killed.. thats about it, you cant exit or play, just watch your self being shot after you put literally $150 into this game in a day.. my in game name is krA7y and I want SOMETHING.
