Why the hell am I getting blocked?

OK, so I guess I'm not allowed to play CF at night. Every night I get blocked for 5 mins, a minimum of 4 times. This is ****ing me off, I'm trying to go for ribbons here, and I can't even play for more than 50 mins without getting DC'ed at night. Please fix this and the numerous hackers.

The block message is a result of the disconnection, the disconnection wasn't caused by the block message.



Is your connection wired and stable?
No overlays running?

Yes, my connection is fine, so I don't think that's the problem.

Same here. I get disconnected after a few minutes of gameplay or finding a room, and I'm blocked for 5 minutes when I try logging back on.

I've been getting this too. D/C's usually while in the lobby/storage. When I relog I get the banned for 5 mins error. Happens quite a bit.

That just happenned to me about 10 minutes ago, 6 minute ban. why did that happen?

Please please please provide us with In Game names when you report.

Your forum account may not be tied to the account you are playing on. It makes us very difficult and extends the time we can help you by days and days if you do not provide us with something we can look you up with.

Don't play on wifi, that's one of the causes for the temp ban, even if you have a great connection, a damn microwave or florescent light can kick you off.
Also, sometimes at night your local DNS services sometimes get overburdened by too many people on. A good trick to preventing this is to connect to a public DNS server such as google.

2 times now i have got the Disconnected from host then get the you are blocked crap. i know its not me my internet is fine.

Nope it's not our internet, it's this damn game!! i just got a disconnect.!! now blocked for
6 min's and that was my 1st game today. iv'e been pc gaming since 97, and have never seen a game with as many bug's as this game has. oh well!!

I submitted a support ticket so I guess we'll see what comes of it.... I know my ping was running around 92 so I wasn't lagging......I am hard wired directly to my modem so no wireless issues on my end. I did go in to my device manager and then to my ethernet and unchecked that box but this problem only started tonight so I don't know why it would happen all of the sudden if that box has been checked the entire time lol.
