Monitor Issues

Asus VG248

lags every 30 seconds for around 1-5 seconds then goes back to normal

in game and on desktop....

any ideas?

could be a higher monitor refresh rate not coinciding properly with the graphic card settings.
try toggling a little lower monitor rates.
What are your graphics card specs?


(also could be a mouse refresh rate and monitor refresh rate conflict.)

dont think it's your monitor.

had the same issue a week ago, had to reinstall my OS, nothing else worked.

same monitor btw

could you list the things you've tried? (so other people with the issue might be able to solve without a full OS reinstallation..)

thank you for providing help. my GPU is compatible with it 100% talked to nvidia support today.

still no fix. I might try a clean installation on my PC, not sure.

i got the issue when i first got the monitor, which is today. how long did you have the monitor before you had the issue

reinstalled/updated all of my drivers
unistalled programs 1by1 to see if they were causing it
cleaned registry
deleted everything pointless

reinstalled windows 8
not it works flawlessly

the same day that i first used it with win8.

used it for 5 months with win7 and had no problem.

used it for 5 months with win7 and had no problem.

i will test it on win7 if it works ill re install win8
