Crossfire Stars Season 2
Hey everyone,
The Ace Gaming boys are back in Canada safely! I just want to quickly recap the weekend in Chengdu, China. After flying for 16 hours and arriving in Chengdu Friday night, three of our members did not have luggage! That was later sorted out and we ended getting all our belongings back, what an experience!
We started Saturday morning by playing our first match against China's number one seed AG.PEPSI. We led 3:1 early in the game and with explosive energy we kept pushing for the victory. AG PEPSI got fired up and it became my favorite LAN match to have ever participated in. With close rounds and amazing team spirits, AG PEPSI won with the final score 10-6 on Ankara. AG.PEPSI moved on and ended up being CFS SEASON 2 World Champion.
Being in the loser bracket we were up against XCN Executioner. We played Indonesia on Sub-base where we lost 7-10, we learned a lot from Indonesia and their unique play-style. Again, both teams had phenomenal energy levels.
The event ended with an unforgettable player party. Every team was having a blast and even the Chinese teams showed a side of them that many have never seen. Everyone was happy to be at CFS Season 2 and to play against such great competitors. We all gathered at CFS 2 with the same passion and desire to win, and in the end everyone shook hands and respected each other.
As a team we have only been together for a year and will continue to stick together. After WCG 2013 and CFS 2014, I can say that our team has grown substantially in terms of skill, teamwork, and friendship. Without a doubt you will be seeing Ace Gaming participating in future tournaments and we will do better in the future. Last but not least, on behalf of the Ace Gaming boys I want to say thank you everyone for your support.
